Made entirely out of Legos? Watch this video, even for a small bit of time and be amazed.
Think of the time to engineer this thing! Sort of like creating a book. Hmmmm. One word, then another, then repeat until finished.
“Simple,” he says. “Easy,” he says.
But there is a masterpiece awaiting someone willing to do the work.

I can just envision
putting this beneath the Christmas tree;
a gift of great precision,
the LEGO giftwrap factory.
Just see the joy on Christmas morn,
the glowing eyes of Little Man,
and in that pounding heart is born
the outline of a master plan
to help improve the quality
of house and home and yard,
all done with joyous jollity,
and it shouldn’t be so hard
to bend each block, diode, resistor
to giftwrapping of one’s little sister.

LOL! Reminds me of Shel Silverstein! The Lego machine was impressive but coupled with your poem was delightfully so!
Andrew Budek-Schmeisser
Pearl, I’m a huge fan of Shel Silverstein!
Karen Marline
Lol!!! That’s amazing!!!
But won’t his mother eventually want her basement back?
Andrew Budek-Schmeisser
Karen, I doubt Mom will press the point.
Unless she wants to be next…

I can’t imagine the patience that required.

Mesmerizing.

Piece by piece. Wow. Thank you for sharing.

I can’t imagine the time and energy that went into creating something that is less efficient than just hand-wrapping a gift. I suppose the point of this project is more the patience and ingenuity required/expended and not the outcome.
To connect that back with writing, perhaps it means I should learn to value the effort of writing a novel, even if it never gets published.
Interesting food for thought. Thanks!
