We are very excited to announce the launch of a new feature. “The Christian Publishing Show” podcast hosted by Thomas Umstattd Jr.
Each week we will have a new 20-minute podcast for you to listen to online or with any device you’d like to use. Podcasts are a different way to access the great content our agency has to offer. We will be interviewing our own agents, have some solo-show discussions, and be interviewing authors, editors, and industry leaders.
If you are unsure what a podcast is, think of it as a prerecorded radio show. but you use the internet to listen to it. All smartphones and most mobile devices have the ability to subscribe to a show. When a new episode is available. you’ll receive a notification and simply click to listen at your convenience.
To subscribe on your phone, click here and get new episodes delivered to your app of choice. If you don’t yet have a podcast app, we recommend CastBox that works on both iPhone and Android.
Or you can simply come to this blog each week where we’ll have the show embedded on our site for your convenience.
Feel free to listen to the initial introduction to give you a feel for how it works. Tomorrow will be the first official episode.

This is exciting! Thank you for offering another resource.

What a neat addition for those who are able to access it!
Having been a public school teacher in my younger days, I am especially conscious of the different learning styles and capabilities. In the classroom, I had to reinforce each lesson in at least half a dozen different ways to reach all my thirty or so students in each class.
Personally, I have great difficulty listening and comprehending. I do much better with the written word. I do hope transcripts will be available.

Podcasts are wonderful, aren’t they? I just started one myself called “You’ve Got This,” a podcast to equip and encourage moms and dads along their parenting journey.
Have fun, and I’ll be sure to add it to my listening rotation!

Great idea! Thanks! I’ve already signed up.

Thank you! I’m always looking for informative podcasts to listen to on my daily trek to town. Looking forward to it!

Love the idea. Subscribed. Looking forward to hearing what you have for us. I know this is an agency, but will you ever cover any Indie Authors? I’ve been an Indie for the past four years. On occasion, I think of submitting something to this agency, but I’m so busy, I never get around to it. LOL Love what I’m learning from those in your agency though. Thank you so much.

Hi Sharon,
We will talk about indie issues from time to time. We talk a lot more about indie issues on my other podcast Novel Marketing.

I love podcasts. I download episodes from several favorites before I go out for a run and it keeps my mind occupied while I’m exercising.
One of my very favorites is “Novel Marketing” featuring none other than (drum roll) Thomas Umstattd Jr.!
“Christian Publishing Show” sounds like a wonderful addition. I just subscribed.

This is exciting! I’m subscribing now. This is such a great idea! I’m curious, do you recommend that bloggers create their own podcasts?
Thomas Umstattd Jr.
Starting a podcast can be a good idea, it is a lot of work though and not something to get into lightly. We may talk about how, when, and why to start your own podcast.

After last week’s silent Tuesday (sniff, sniff), I wondered what would fill its place. I hope this means we will hear from Dan on the podcast from time to time. Looking forward to this wonderful new feature!
