That was great! My wife and I laughed because it reminded us of us and our friends. Up until a few years ago, I managed a ranch in south Texas; it was ten and a half miles to the mailbox. Does that qualify for “social distancing?”
Great! Thanks for the humor!
Also, listened to the Q/A Webinars today. I didn’t realize you owned the Gilbert Morris rights. I read those books one at a time as they came out. I felt like I learned more from them about history than my high school classes. I’d love to listen to them again through an audio format, if there’s any way to make that possible. There’s a whole new generation to read/listen to those books!
Thanks for all you do to help writers.
Donna, I do not own the rights to his novels. Only the publication rights to his book on writing fiction. That is what I collaborated with as part of the course. I took my material on the topic and combined it with Gilbert’s material to create a new and wonderful study.
His publishers control his fiction.
LOL! But so true. Love from New Orleans
Thanks for the laughs. My favorite was the part about spreading old lady perfume around the house while watching virtual church to make it seem more real.
Yep. They’ve captured the essence of it all. Thanks for the laugh.
I love this. 🙂
I especially laughed at the “Blizzard of ’93” comment—how well I remember that, LOL!
Everyone stay healthy!
As a person from the south, these videos are so true. My husband and I are always loving this Southerns group and their videos. It is good to laugh about yourself.
And if you decided to write a book set in the south, beware! Every region is different in so many ways.
Take care!
A well needed laugh! Thanks for sharing this!
This was the most fun I’ve had since….the quarantine started. I mean, how many reruns of Home Town can I bear to watch? (Now, Love It or List It? That’s a whole different question. I could move into a Hillary Farr house today!)
From Jacksonville, FL–that entire video is true! No foolin”!
Thanks for the laugh! I needed that.
How’d they get them microphones in our house???
