Today’s video is “The Bugler’s Holiday” by four members of the Boston Pops. Wow!
My oldest brother is an excellent trumpet player and played this in college when part of the Seattle Pacific University trumpet trio. Back then this was a relatively new song.
Me? I was inspired by my brother and tried to play trumpet in junior high, using one of his old instruments. Let’s just say the talent wasn’t genetic.
This piece is so much fun to hear. I hope it brightens your day.
Fabulous! Thanks for posting.
This is beautiful and delicious to listen to. Thank you so much for sharing. You did brighten my day for sure.
Awesome!
They do an awesome job!!! Though the tune is familiar, I can’t think of the name of it.
A treat for the ears – thank you for sharing!!!
As a decades-long trombonist, I never mastered the art/technique of the double-tongue and triple-tongue.
What a wonderful way to end the week and start the day! Thanks for sharing!
What a delight! Thank you!
That was awesome!
Wonderful to listen to and the video editing was great!
Loved this! Trumpet music is some of my favorite.
Think I needed my coffee first! I played flute/piccolo for most of my life, so all those tkta-tkta-tktas are quite familiar. What virtuosity! Steve, did you ever find an instrument that clicked?
Magnificent!!!
Love it!!! I played this instrument in my High School marching band and orchestra!!! of course I could do all this triple tongue!!! HA!
This is excellent!!! Bravo!!!
Loved it! Thanks for sharing!
