This fun video was put together by the Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat 5th Grade class in Quinhagak, Alaska. They spent 10 hours shooting the video over a weekend. Originally intended only for an audience of only 200, it has now been seen by 1.2 million!
And if you are wondering where Quinhagak is? I have posted a map for you, with the town located on Google Maps. 400 miles east of Anchorage (the distance from Philadelphia to Cleveland):

I watched this yesterday and now today, again. I love it when all ages of a community get together for a common goal. Much time and effort would’ve been expended to get the timing done. I think I’ll head over to YouTube and ‘like’ the video. It’s the least I can do to show them my appreciation.
Seeing the buildings and all the other areas of the community also brought back good memories of my time in the Yukon Territory.
Thank you, Steve.

gretchen from texas!
awesome!! I ADORE Alaska and adored watching this fabulous video!! i smiled and got teary-eyed through the whole thing. Reminds me of Little Drummer Boy; he gave all he had to Jesus on His birthday (his skill at drumming), and you guys shared your culture, hometown, friends, family, and time with the world on His behalf to wish Him a happy birthday. If we all did that, the world would be a much better place. Thank you!!
