I never really understood
(though I think ‘Drummer Boy’ is fine)
exactly how the blazes could
an ox and lamb keep time?
Did they nod their heads or tap their feet
to facilitate the drumming
when they had the chance to meet
Christ the King’s first coming?
And, what, further of the kid,
how, with drum, was he just ‘there’?
Was it what the Lord had bid
him do, through angels fair,
or had he just been passing by
after game-time at Bethlehem High?

Thanks for the fun video!
I love this rendition of Sinatra’s Little Drummer Boy. Such merriment! Thank you.
