Such a good reminder to find the fun in an interruption, or unexpected change! Sounds like life around my house these days! Thanks for posting.

I enjoyed your touching Christmas video. When leaving our ranch to purchase supplies three weeks ago, we came across a frightened dog on our narrow country road. I prayed, asking God to have the dog walk down the road to our home if we were supposed to help it. A voice seemed to say, “she will be right in this spot when you come back.” There is nothing at that spot to make a dog want to stay, so I had my doubts she would be there. Five hours later, there she stood. We have rescued many dogs over the years, but we have never seen such a loving animal, and we were heartbroken when we realized she was skin and bones beneath her beautiful fur. She was starving. It was a wonder she had survived living outdoors through the cold nights. Since that lucky day, Miss Lily has regained weight, learned to sit, is now housebroke, and…best of all…she is going to her new forever home this coming week. God sent a short blessing into our lives the day we found Lily in our valley. I believe he already had her new family picked out the day we found her, and I pray they will treat her with love and kindness for the rest of her life. We are thankful for the no-kill shelter that interviewed possible families for Lily. Merry Christmas, and may God bless you greatly.
