“If you give a man a fish, he will be hungry tomorrow. If you teach a man to fish, he will be richer forever.”
If you teach a fish to play soccer . . . (Can you finish this sentence and make it into a proverb?)
Enjoy today’s rather unusual video.

If you teach a fish to move
a football (yes, I’m sure you can),
then you will be in the groove
to make a piscine David Beckham,
becoming quite the exponent
of behind-the-tailfin pass;
oppos wonder where ball went
as hero knee-slides on the grass,
but that’s where this dream must break down
and drift into a sad archive
of lost hopes that sit and frown
from a place where they can’t thrive,
for it’s too clear, yea, if you please
that sadly, fish do not have knees.

If you teach a goldfish to play soccer, he won’t be a small fry in the school.

If you teach a fish to play soccer, why not water polo?

If you teach a goldfish to play soccer, he’ll likely drop out of “school”.

Wow! I love this so much!!! Now, if I can just get Princess Leia Freyja to stop sneaking into our candy stash, ha!

If you teach a fish to play soccer, he will always get his “kicks” and exercise at the same time (and likely make the Guinness Book of World Records!!). 😉

If you teach a fish to play soccer, you will have a flipping fun time! He will be a great support team player as he flips the ball to you so you can make the goal. You may find it easier if he is the goaley because he would be good at swiftly flipping back the ball so you could end up on the other end of the field ready to score! Over all that fish would be great with a team, but not so good one on one, the lack of feet being a slight issue.

If you teach a fish to play soccer, he may have a swimming good go-round. If he teaches a school of fish the game the ocean becomes their playground🫤

Awesome! I’m sending this to my two sons. Incredible!
Gordon Palmer
If you teach a fish to play soccer, he can use his feat.

If you teach a fish to play soccer he (or she) will likely lose & the rest of the school will ostracize him (or her.)
Instead, can we teach the fish to write? 😉
