Ten years ago, there were Llamas on the Lloose in a suburb of Phoenix! Enjoy the Llama Drama, set to very appropriate music.
It’s Llike a Llittle Llost writer at a conference trying to find their cLlassroom.
Fortunately, there was a local cowboy with a Llasso. Yes, Phoenix has cowboys.

Chuckled. Reminds me of my nephew who is a farrier in New Jersey. He came upon a horse that was loose on the highway. He jumped out of his truck, grabbed his lasso–I guess farriers routinely carry lassoes–and roped in the wayward stallion.
Thanks for the llots of llaughs,
As we drove home, that day of days,
dear Barb cried out, ‘Forsooth!’,
and pointed to what caught her gaze:
four goats were on the loose!
Pursued now by the two goathands,
their heeler dog, and us,
they led us through suburban lands
and caused a mighty fuss
as children shrieked in joyful glee,
and one pretty mom did swoon
when she looked, and then did see
the nanny in her living room,
whom, as the posse the rest did shackle,
I leveled with a rugby tackle.
Really happened.
Thanks! I needed a laugh.
Oh, that was so good, Steve! Laughed, laughed, laughed and loved it!
Hilarious! Loved the analogy of a Llittle Llost writer at a conference . I have been there!
I love the analogy. That was a hilarious video.
My question…where’d the black Llama go?
Did it get Llost amongst the attention on the white one?
And how many newbie writers have found themselves Llost at a writer’s conference while someone helps the other newbies?
It’s a good reminder to keep our eyes open for wanderers.
I’m impressed with your observational skills! Since the black llama was seen in a few close encounters when hands were actually laid on, even if briefly, I suspect “Shadow” was captured. Your heart is revealed when you applied your knowledge and observation of llost-sheep-writers by expressing the Shepherd’s heart and helping them. He leaves to 99 to go after the one. 😉 You are also an exhorter because you encouraged the rest of us to do the same!
Happy Friday!!
Thanks for the laughs!!
Blessings.
This was hiLlarious! My husband and I enjoyed it so much. Thank you for the Llaughs. (WeLl written, too, Steve!)
