There are lines quite hard to cross,
and I won’t be lying
to say that I am at a loss
on how to deal with dying.
I think my death will maybe come
in a savage wave of pain,
after which I’ll be among
the saints, and born again,
but the ‘pain’ bit has me scared
for I have seen so much,
and I don’t know if I’m prepared
for the reaper’s touch
even though I will abide
with Jesus on the other side.

You’re Not Alone
It’s not an easy road to travel all alone.
The burden is too heavy for us to bear.
But God has sent us one to travel by our side,
To be our acting guide, to make the burden light,
To teach us how to fight – and how to win!
