Coolest firework I ever saw was during a show sponsored by Pepsi Cola. The mortar “boomed” and when the shell exploded, it formed a Pepsi Emblem in the sky. That was about 30 years ago and I still remember it.
I like what he said, “Fireworks is a unique language. I don’t think you can compete [with] that.” Well, some of the language fireworks speaks to me is my ears crackle because of the sound, and my eyes widen because of the beauty and color. 😉
The best fireworks show was in Pensacola, Florida, where the ‘works were set off from the top of a building, which made them shoot even higher into the sky, creating an expansive blanket of color and a spirit of awe.

In Brewer, Maine, on the high school football field back around 1965 the fireworks included two battleships firing at one another. A memorable show!
