Doesn’t nessum dorma mean “no sleeping”, when the princess refused any sleep until they found her suitor’s name – those kids won’t sleep either, for a while. I so love Italians … they have a soul that resonates with mine. Thanks … now I can’t even work with all that in my mind. It was wonderful.
Italy in Buckinghamshire, who would have thought. Culture and creativity is a very beautiful thing wherever you find it. Makes me want to plan another visit to Italy, Germany, Austria Switzerland, etc. There is SOOOOOOOOOOOO much culture, creativity and fine people, food, libation and style to be discovered there, one lifetime is not enough.
Other parts of the world are great as well in their own unique way of course. Peter, thanks for the kind comments about Italians. Grazie mille! Steve HOW DO you come across such great videos time after time. This gives me a vision of you staying up nights reviewing thousands of video’s to come up with just the right gem?
Thanks for another Friday laugh. The kids’ responses are even better than the crowd responses in the flashmob Messiah videos. Your Fun Friday posts have become my best current source for musical merriment. Snag the URL, pass it on to my musician friends has become SOP. I’m looking forward already to next week’s chuckle.
A few months ago I watched them with my daughter (11)… she wanted to quit violin and move to cello (thanks Piano Guys).
Now: she wants to start classical voice (no doubt, dropping piano).
Where are the videos that show the thousands of hours of practice needed to get good enough to make kids’ jaws drop? Good enough to be the focus of a Fun Friday? 🙂

Watched again with my wife … she loved it too. Missed that it was the policeman who opened with Nessum Dorma … haha.
