I have to show this to my husband. He’s famous for juggling and standing on his head…but not at the same time. :0

For me, the apple is writing, the egg is editing, and the bowling ball is marketing.

Peter, I agree. How I hope we can keep all those pieces moving as smoothly as Michael Davis did!

Thank you for recognizing the genius of the young man in
the video.

Loved this video! Oh, my goodness. May I liken it to the academic world? Or not….I just got my contract renewed for the next year…..wouldn’t want to end up with egg on my face.

Thanks for the laughs. I remember seeing him perform in the 80s some time, but can’t for the life of me recall what show it was on.
I was observing as I watched and took note of some connections to the writing life. *Expecting rejection (remarks about lack of applause) *Ability to not take oneself too seriously *Being able to follow (grammar/spelling/punctuation) rules so you can skillfully break them *putting in the occasional “Surprise!” *Timing. Timing. Timing. Last but not least- *Juggling characters and plots in your story

Good, clean humor refreshes the soul like clean, clear, cold water refreshes the body on a hot, dry, desert day.

Thanks for this Friday fun, Steve. I also enjoyed reading other people’s comments about the Juggler. It was fascinating reading interpretations that compared the art of juggling to writing!
Indeed every form of art is a talent which all go through the wheel of practice, patience and prayer before perfection.
No matter how many times the egg gets crashed, our Lord says that the righteous will always get up. Even if the worst happens, like maybe the heavy ball punching the Juggler’s face, for example, our Lord says that ‘affliction will not happen a second time’, Amen.
So for first timers and old timers at writing – ‘Fear not’, a rejection letter is not the final act. The Juggler will always get up: juggle one ball, then two, next three and finally begin to play tricks with them, no matter how crazy – perfection! Begin with one chapter or book and God will see you through it all to the very end, in Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
Amazing!!!
