In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, please enjoy the splendiferous voices of Swedish Chef, Beaker, and Animal (aka The Muppets) as they sing a stupefying rendition of “Danny Boy.”
A thank you to Kim Moore for recommending it and for writing, “While writing can be joyous, sometimes it can also be a little sad; but you are not alone when you have friends who understand and will weep with you.”

Gold! Animal takes the cake. For an added bonus, turn on closed captioning. Thanks for sharing. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I miss the Muppet Show! Thanks for this.
Top O’ the Mornin’ to Ya!
I remember this one. Beeker’s falsetto voice actually choked me up–and made me laugh. Thanks for sharing.
What a fun intro to the weekend! Animal stole the show with his interpretation of the treasured ballad. What a voice! 😂
Oh, boy, oh Danny, oh boy…..
Danny heard the Muppets sing
his ode from way back when,
and ’twas quite enough to bring
him right back to the lions’ den
where though, for sure, he might be eaten,
with all that this fate entailed,
his ears at least would not be beaten,
nor music-driven heart assailed
by this dread cacophony
(which Kermit, egad, introduced).
This measure of disharmony
in our poor Danny has produced
no satisfaction, much less joy,
oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.
This is classic!!!! CLASSIC! Thank you for the making the day complete!!!!
A glorious cacophony of friendship. Thank you.
Thanks for the levity on that sad song. I’ll never hear it again without thinking of the Muppets!
Just what I needed!
Thank you and have a great weekend!
Prescription for an instant smile–Muppets!
