Elvis rolling in his grave,
but it ended far too soon;
Can’t Help Falling In Love, my fave
as played on a balloon.
Escaping air to hit the notes
that the King soulfully sang.
This version might get some folks’ goats,
but me, I waited for the bang
when the tune’s long run had stopped,
and a counterpoint was needed.
Might not balloon have then been popped?
Or was it better the dude heeded
the call to end with some respect
and thereby keep temptation checked?
