Yet another fascinating bit of world trivia. Today’s video is a four-minute piece about an office inside an elevator.
Watch and be amazed.
I want one.

It had to happen sometime,
sooner, baby, and not later,
but it came in ’39,
an office in an elevator.
‘Twas in Europe’s Slavic East
where consonants make up each name,
that Otis came to build the beast
and earned an everlasting fame
(‘least in the tribe of up and down)
by making boss’ vision true
(was he inspired by too much to drink?)
with phones that work, oh, yes, they do,
and then threw in the kitchen sink!
They say that bosses rise and fall,
and now I guess I’ve seen it all.

Oops.
An extra line hid and thus remained from an earlier version, “(least in the tribe of up and down)”, and is now laughing at my lousy poofreeding.

What a great example of thinking outside of the box! (or moving the box?) Talk about creativity!
I went on to the next link to see the San Diego rotating house. That was great because the owner- designer explained how he created specialized pieces to make everything work. The house uses a one horse power motor to turn and it’s not a small house. Soooo
The next time you have an idea, maybe don’t listen to the naysayers (10 spies who saw themselves as grasshoppers) but to the excellent Creator Who plans more than we can conceive of or imagine!

I would prefer an office with a spectacular mountain view.
