Grateful for Workers
You ate right- it is funny or maybe ironically satiristic but also a sad commentary on the ME mentality of today.
Evidently somebody talked, otherwise, how would so many people know. The horn sounds loudest when blown by others.
It was like Wyatt Earp and Shaft had collaborated to battle wrongdoing in the Mountain West. However at that point came a run in.
All I can say is if I ever run a marathon you WILL be hearing about it! (At my funeral maybe, because it will probably kill me, but it will NOT go unmentioned! Modesty isn’t all it’s cracked up to be! 😉 )

Actually, it makes a lot of sense. After all, no one ever won a race who looked over his shoulder to see how the competition was doing. No one ever wrote a book who looked to see whether another author’s writing style was better than theirs. Better to keep ourselves to ourselves and focus on the road ahead.
