Some want our flag to be all red,
kick out the white and blue,
and to dynamite each head
on Mount Rushmore, too.
They say your kids are really theirs,
and so’s your house and home.
It’s kinda like musical chairs,
and we’ll be standing, all alone
unless we push back hard and fast,
our values at the fore.
Our nation was designed to last,
but we won’t have it any more
unless we drop dim apathy,
and heed the call of history.
Well said, Andrew. Pushing back is how this country was formed. Unfortunately, many are too timid, scared, or don’t care enough about what’s happening to do anything about it. If we don’t, we’ll lose what little freedoms we have left.
Hi Steve,
I am not able to read your article by selecting either the picture or the enjoy.
The few comments indicate it would be very interesting.
Is there anything you can do to make it available?
Tina Friesen
Is there no article? I see only one brief paragraph for both July 3 and 4.
