I pray that as we move through Advent that you and your loved ones are blessed as we all await in glorious anticipation to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray that the stillness of Christmas Eve brings you peace and a sense of wonder. And I pray you and yours will enjoy a most wonderful Christmas Day celebration together and increased joy throughout Epiphany and beyond. May you thrive in 2023 as you follow the Lord’s plan for your life. Amen.

What a lovely prayer, Tamela!
As we walk this troubled Earth
that sometimes seems so far from favour,
let us hold in heart the birth
of Jesus Christ, our Saviour,
and turn our minds back to that night
when underneath a sky so broad
young Mary saw the holy light
that shone out from the face of God,
and felt the trust placed in her hands
to nurture this Divinity,
to help Him rescue fallen man’s
world, this Maker of Infinity,
and as we breathe, with love, His name,
know we’re entrusted with the same.
