I’ve noticed something interesting
about the entrepreneurial spirit;
it can portend a life-affirming
path, when you hit your limit.
Cancer is no Hallmark tale;
it’s a vicious daily grind
and if you don’t fight to prevail
you are going to lose your mind.
Each day you must reinvent
the foundation for your hope
for only proactive can you prevent
the slide down despair’s fell slope.
Entrepreneur’s ability keeps you alive
and allows you, at the end, to thrive.
