The saying goes, “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.” While some authors are able to support a full-time writing career with only their books, the reality is most authors need additional income, at least at the beginning. But does that mean you need to go out and get a job at McDonald’s in between novels? No, no you don’t.
There’s a better way. And that way is freelancing.
We have a guest on the show today who has put her eggs into many different baskets. She is a professional freelancer, an award-winning author of 12 books, an editor, speaker, agent, and licensed minister. She is the co-director of the West Coast Christian Writers Conference and the founder/CEO of the successful AuthorizeMe® Consulting, Coaching, Editing and Literary Agency.
