We are so very proud that Amanda Cox was awarded the Christy Award Book-of-the Year this past week for her novel The Edge of Belonging (Revell)! Amanda is represented by Tamela and we are so thrilled for her.
To be eligible she had to also win in her category of best first novel. Way to go!
In addition, our agency also saw Roseanna White win the award for best Historical Romance for A Portrait of Loyalty (Bethany House).
Plus Sharon Hinck won, for the second straight year, for the best Speculative novel with her Forsaken Island (Enclave Publishing).
I must also mention that an Enclave Publishing novel won for the best YA novel. Sandra Fernandez Rhoads’ Mortal Sight.
Congratulations to all the winners, but also to all the finalists. The Christy Awards are like the “Oscars” of Christian fiction and any of the titles listed on the awards site are worthy of your attention. If you have someone who thinks Christian fiction isn’t any good…they haven’t been reading the right books! (Link to the Finalists and Winners).
How exciting!! Congrats, everyone!
