Apple wants to rule the world
with Google, hand in hand,
girded by words their lawyers hurled
to make us understand
that none can stand against their might
and must not resist
lest a grim solicitor write
a dreaded Cease, Desist!
I wonder, though, how God on high
must look on this and smile,
for the time is coming high
when Christ returns in style
to set the giants in their places
and teach them basic social graces.

Well, that was certainly unique. And funny, to boot!
While I have been an Apple fan for decades, this reminds me how powerful companies like Apple can be. Things (words) we took for granted as free are patented or trademarked. Writing isn’t quite as simple as it used to be.
