This video may have been created in 2014–well before Covid, Zoom, Teams, Meets, etc. became a vital part of our business life–but have things really changed? (Zoom now means something different than a cat or dog zipping around the living room.)
Enjoy this blast from the past (present) (future).

Imagine, please, if Jesus’ friends,
the Apostles, twelve in all,
tried to achieve their temple ends
using a conference call.
Sheep bleating, donkeys braying
all ’round, from near and far.
Pharisees loudly praying
to the sound of a shofar.
What Gospel might have then emerged
from all the background noise?
Would awful mistakes have surged
to blank out Jesus’ voice,
or would God have filtered out
each moneychanger’s greedy shout?
Great to hear from you, Andrew. I always enjoy your comments. This one is spot on.
That was painful. That blast can stay in the past. Thanks for reminding me why I launched out on my own. Now I have the freedom to stop video, mute, or take a walk. It’s a beautiful life.
This was hilarious and still relatable 😂 thanks for the laugh.
It truly was hilarious. Didn’t miss a trick.
This is perfect!!!! I attend one of these ‘episodes’ about once a week! The dog barking is the most frequent!🙄
Absolutely right on!!!
Technology at its finest! Thanks!
So funny!! Thank you.
How quietly the still, small voice
Speaks to my heart
Despite the noises and the voices
Clam’ring to be heard.
O Gentleman, You are,
To stand and wait
Until I ope’ the door.
Oh, my goodness! I have lived through that! It was hysterical. (Not when I was living through it, obviously, but looking back at the situation was laughing-till-I-cried worthy.)
