Fun Fridays – Sept. 5, 2014

What an amazing invention! I love the battery life and the ability to scan through the content quickly.

Even better? I don’t have to rely on Amazon to deliver it by drone.

Love it! I laughed out loud at the voice activated password protection.

That’s an ad that will certainly go viral. Actually, it already has or we wouldn’t see it here. Whoever thought of it is brilliant.

Now, that’s funny! Not to mention, in this new age of ever-evolving technology (the nail-biting unveiling of The Iphone 6 any minute now) it sure feels great when the good, old stuff works best. Like a book made out of paper!

I’ve decide to incorporate “bookbook” at least 5 times into my conversations today.

That guy says “IKEA” really cool. I tried copying him. I sounded like a western trying to get a horse to take off in a gallop.

This is absolutely fantastic! I think I’ll start using the word “bookbook” regularly. Or is that a copyright issue? 🙂

They neglected to mention the best feature of all: no need to find a plug-in for re-charging it at airports.

When it started, my first thought was…Oh great what now?

Then I envisioned some guy in the future seeing this old “commercial” and thinking it might be a good idea!

Love those hand held books. I have a bunch of e-books and don’t read them if I have the real deal around. But that’s me. Can’t imagine not having a bookshelf.

Sales & marketing excellence, it’s all in the presentation. Genius!

Tongue in cheek subliminal pattern design suggestion for border ornamentation on cover:

(If someone isn’t sure what this means: It communicates that the catalog contains IKEAS IDEAS at a subconscious level)

Steve, thanks for the light-hearted entertainment!

HAhahaha! And now I know it’s pronounced Ee-kia, not, as I’d been pronouncing it, EYE-kia.

    I have been enlightened
