Thank you for posting the videos in that order. Yuja attacked that pieces as is a flight of bumble bees was after her. I was exhausted by the end. Good grief. I watched it again to see if she smiled at the end of her performance. Nope. Girlfriend, I would’ve ran up and slapped you a high five. A fist bump perhaps?
Then comes along Borge and Hambro. All smiles and ease. It’s obvious how joyful playing the piano makes them. Their delight shines on their faces, especially Borge. Did you notice his head bopping while playing? Love it!
These videos prove that while artists have diverse performing styles, according to the piece being executed, they are passionate about their craft. Oh, how the passion shows!
