I am excited to welcome Megan Brown as the newest agent with The Steve Laube Agency! Please give her a warm welcome.
I’ve known Megan for several years. She became a client of our agency five years ago and has proven to be a bright light to all who meet her.
Megan is known as an author, speaker, and military missionary. She is passionate about equipping the United States military community to carry the redemptive story of Jesus to the four corners of the Earth through radical hospitality, sound biblical teaching, and community discipleship in the local church.
She is the author of Summoned: Answering a Call to the Impossible, an eight-week, expository Bible study of Esther (Moody Publishing, 2021) and Know What You Signed Up For: How to Follow Jesus, Love People, Live on Mission as a Military Spouse (Moody Publishing, 2023), and she is under contract for another Bible study. While Megan loves writing, she also enjoys traveling around the country for short-term military mission trips, teaching the Bible, and launching women into ministry leadership. You can visit her author website at meganbbrown.com.
Megan has her bachelor’s degree in Ministry Leadership with a focus on women’s ministry (2021) and a master’s degree in Global Ministry Design from Moody Bible Institute (2023). She hopes to begin her work soon toward a Ph.D. in Christian Leadership.
She lives in south Mississippi with her husband, M.Sgt Keith Brown, U.S. Air Force, and their four energetic children.
I’m always seeking ways to broaden our agency’s services to current and potential clients. By adding Megan to the agency, we can expand our role in helping to maximize our client’s sales and extend their reaches in multiple markets. Megan’s strengths include her ability to mentor others in their understanding of the writing and editing process, along with relationship-building and community advocacy. She helps us to fulfill our mission to help change the world, word by word.

Welcome, Megan, to this place
where writing’s far more than a hobby,
uplifted by wisdom and grace
that’s shown by Mr. Laube.
I look forward to the things you’ll write
to this blog community,
and hope that one fine day I might
have the opportunity
to hear you in conference-speech,
your valiant missionary heart,
to learn truths God chose you to teach
that one day I might play my part
in reaching out to my old brethren
with more than just Remember When.
Melissa Henderson
Welcome! I look forward to getting to know more about you. Congratulations!

Welcome, Megan, from one newbie reader to a newbie agent! Andrew’s right—this blog cafe is well-stocked with warm-hearted bookish types who love Jesus and want to bring their lights out from under that bushel (aka finally pull their unpublished manuscript from the drawer!). God bless you in your new and exciting role!
Jim L Hurst Jr
Welcome to the agency. I looked for your contact information and what you are seeking but didn’t find your profile yet. I am looking forward to researching your “what I am looking for page” soon. I need an agent soon. Trinity Broadcasting Network has a publishing company called Triology Christian Publishing and they offered a contract. Everyone that has read my book says I need to get it professionally published and go global. I hope you are the agent to take both of us to that market.
Steve Laube
Jim,
Note that Trilogy Christian Publishing is on page 96 of the most recent edition of The Christian Writers Market Guide in the “Independent Publishers” section. Trilogy Christian Publishing is not a “Traditional Publisher” in that the author underwrites the cost of the creation and publication of the book. And that is a fine and viable option for authors.
A “Traditional Publisher” is one that carries the risk and burden of the cost of publication.
Our agency represents books to publishers that fall under the “traditional” category.

Welcome! Thanks for your military service (and your husband’s, too). I served as an officer in the U.S. Navy and later became a mother of 3.
It’s a tough life, but so rewarding.
