Last week at the Mt. Hermon Christian Writers Conference Bob Hostetler came up to me and said, “Congratulations!” I looked at him blankly and said, “For what?” His smile lit up, “For being named as one of the top websites by ‘Writer’s Digest!’”
Bob later showed me the May-June 2017 issue he had with him and there we were on page 39 (see below).

I was not surprised at all to see your site mentioned. You always have informative, helpful topics, and all of your blog writers are terrific. I always get inspired, encouraged, and educated, and you don’t get the same Christian perspective from other sites. Love the fun things on Fridays, too. I have saved some of them so that when I have need of a good laugh I go back and see them again. (Since we live in Flagstaff, one of my favorite ones is the Phoenix weather guy with the temps in the thousands. Cracks me up every time!)

Congrats! Your website is very helpful.if you had written an inspirational novel and a Christian romance novel, but had no author blog would you develop a blog before submitting the two manuscripts to agents/publishers? Thank you!
Edward, in this day and age I would DEFINITELY start an author blog as soon as possible. An internet presence is all-but-mandatory for anyone wanting to break into writing these days, and agents and publishers do take that into account.
