One goal of Christian books is to convey a powerful Christian message through literature. But readers won’t get that message if they are turned off by the writing. One thing that turns potential readers away is heavy-handed preachiness. So how can Christian writers convey a powerful Christian message without being preachy?
Our guest to help answer that question is Tim Shoemaker, the author of fourteen books with two more under contract. He also writes for Focus on the Family Clubhouse magazine, coaches writers, and is a popular speaker at conferences around the country.

Wonderful show with Tim–thanks, Thomas! I had the privilege of meeting Tim at Mount Hermon, and I so appreciate his heart for God. Your conversation gave me good food for thought, with even a couple of lightbulb moments. Grateful!

Thanks for sharing. This episode was so encouraging! I loved the emphasis on leading people to truth and how doing so can, in the long run, point to Christ.
Pick The Writer
