I’ve “dabbled” in writing since I was a kid, but now that I’m in my 20s and out of college, I’ve considered it more as a career. You have a good point, that I should treat my progress like going to law school or going to medical school. If I’m in this for the long haul, I have to put in the work and improve my craft.
