    Any book’s a Christian book;
    it depends on how you read it.
    A heart for God, that’s all it took
    for the aroma that it needed.
    A math text can point the way
    to the wonders of Creation,
    and the Constitution has it say
    in Judeo-Christian foundation.
    Christ-life isn’t in the words
    that are written on the page
    but in the soul’s turning towards
    an escape from sin’s dark cage.
    Many a heathen book I’ve read;
    the author know not to Whom it led!

    Excellent interchange for us Christian writers of work that might or might not be considered Christian. It is like a preliminary discussion–a warm-up–for a talk on hermeneutics and higher criticism. Give us a follow-up, please!

    Very interesting discussion! My non-fiction book being released later this year targets more than one audience (Christian and otherwise), even though it contains scripture, biblical principles and prayer.
