Consider this:
“He says, ‘I will do it for you. Why do you worry? I will do it for you. I am God. I am Jehovah. I am your righteousness. I am your provider. I am your healer. I am your banner of victory. I am your shepherd. I am your peace. I am your everything.’
“If God is all this to us, then there is no reason why anybody should be downhearted in this hour. If God could make a world out of nothing, why can’t He make anything He wants now for His people? God invites us to see Him at work.”
– A.W. Tozer, Rut, Rot or Revival (Christian Publications, 1993), page 148.

And He WILL do it again and again. Our God is willing and able.
I often have to remind myself of this. Thanks, Steve!
I’m shattered now, it’s hard to write,
but I will do my level best
at ending of this dreadful night,
the day bringing another test.
No longer do the mind-birds roam
over landscapes of what still might be;
the promise of another home
is all that truly calls to me,
and so I rise and so I stand
and so I face the blood-red dawn,
and so I take His Mighty Hand
that I may yet go on
through a day of awful beauty
defined and lined in iron duty.
