Consider this:
“He says, ‘I will do it for you. Why do you worry? I will do it for you. I am God. I am Jehovah. I am your righteousness. I am your provider. I am your healer. I am your banner of victory. I am your shepherd. I am your peace. I am your everything.’
“If God is all this to us, then there is no reason why anybody should be downhearted in this hour. If God could make a world out of nothing, why can’t He make anything He wants now for His people? God invites us to see Him at work.”
– A.W. Tozer, Rut, Rot or Revival (Christian Publications, 1993), page 148.

And He WILL do it again and again. Our God is willing and able.
I often have to remind myself of this. Thanks, Steve!
I’m shattered now, it’s hard to write,
but I will do my level best
at ending of this dreadful night,
the day bringing another test.
No longer do the mind-birds roam
over landscapes of what still might be;
the promise of another home
is all that truly calls to me,
and so I rise and so I stand
and so I face the blood-red dawn,
and so I take His Mighty Hand
that I may yet go on
through a day of awful beauty
defined and lined in iron duty.
Thank you, Andrew, for once again reminding us of our true calling, which is to face God in His strength and purpose. God bless you.
Thank you for this, Susan.
Andrew, your words are always an inspiration to me. You’re courageous and truthful and raw all at once. You’re fighting the good fight and winning the race, even in the midst of great suffering. May God go with you in all of it.
Liz, thank you so much for this. After a very hard night, your words are truly a balm.
Amen and amen! God’s got you.
Perfect timing! I focused on this just as I was faced with a recurring question that makes me weary!
Thank you for always lifting up the vital TRUTH in life! The Lord is in control!!!!
Such a good way to begin this morning. Facing the last reading of my WIP seems daunting, but this reminded me that I don’t do it alone. Thank you.
Absolutely! Last year was one of moving from faith to trust in God for me.
Scary times tend to do that, and He showed up SOOOO many times, answering prayer, sometimes even before I asked. The time caused me to start implicitly trusting His goodness and love and faithfulness like never before.
We need to see Him and His greatness. If we can, there’s nothing left to worry about for He is a good God with no hidden motives!
Praise God!
Linda
Thanks, Steve. I needed this at this moment. Blessings, Michael
I agree with all above. Thank you Steve. Much needed.
God bless and keep you!
Thanks so much, Steve. You are always an encourager.
