I’ve got to turn away and blink
’cause I’ve got something in my eye,
and you should never ever think
that hooligans would ever cry.
There’s a tightness in my chest;
heart feels full, can’t find the reason,
and maybe that is for the best
for thugs know no emotion-season.
My knees are shaking, I’m unsteady,
maybe from the rugger match.
Oh, very well, all right already,
I know that you were bound to catch
the fact that I must weeping, kneel
before courage that is so real.
Beautiful poem!
