Oh, the joys of our tall dreams
that do not break the bank,
and the joys of neighbours’ screams
when lawnmower becomes a tank.
They don’t know it’s plywood,
and that the cannon’s PVC.
They just think maybe they should
sic the cops on thee,
but there’s no law ‘gainst playing
with a neighbour’s mind.
Now don’t think I am saying
that one need not be kind,
but a bit of harmless fun
never damaged anyone.
It saddens me that trees had to die for this.
The potato cannon is cool, though.

Watching this video was a waste of time. It’ s not even funny. What kind of protection does plywood give? Zero degree mowers are more powerful than tractor mowers, but get a leak in the hydraulic systems for steering, and they’re useless.
So what’s the point to your audience? That Christian writers are Walter Mittys shooting BB guns at windmills while toiling for Christ?

I marveled at the talent of the man… thinking of something and being able to actually do it are vastly different things! I see absolutely the correlation between mowing the yard in a tank and writing something that will be read and appreciated. You have the idea, you think you have the ability to actually do it… and you do it! Hallelujah! That is monumental! And now I see writing is easier and needs only pen and paper… not all the fancy tools!

Diligence is man’s precious possession! If we can picture it, we can accomplish it. As a kid, I wanted to be the next Hank Williams and every night at bedtime I would picture in my mind, hearing the Grand Ole Opry announcer call me to the stage! 12 albums later and working on #13, I am proof that we gravitate towards our most dominant thoughts. One thing though, I ended up more like Greg Allman than Hank!😂 God bless!

Good example of ingenuity put into action. As I watched I wondered if it would still mow the grass, and it does! I bet there are a few teenagers who might not complain about having to mow the lawn if they got to use this.
