Some of the contributors promoted self-publication in the “Why Authors Need Agents” article. Do you see being the manager of an author’s self publication becoming an offshoot of the traditional role for an agent? Also, as an agent would you ever suggest to an author that he self-publish a sequel/follow-up if the success of the first book would essentially market the second book?
