Christian Stores See 8.5% Overall Gain in 2012 – Looks like the growth came from non-book items. That is good news in that it means traffic in the stores has increased and reversed recent trends.

101 Things to Do to Build Your Writing Platform –  My advice? Don’t try all of them at once, your blood pressure can’t handle it. But pick ten and see what you can do with them by the end of Summer.

    Come on Mr. Laube, it’s 2013, we don’t use the word dumb to describe this disability; deaf and blind, yes.

      I apologize. The correct term would be mute I believe. (It does mess up the convenient alliteration.)

      We all trip over new politically correct terms. Especially us old codgers. (I’m assuming that term is still okay.)

        Thank you Mr. Laube. It was not my intent to be snarky or to preach. I have worked in the Deaf community for 15 years, and I have seen the hurt that word has caused to kids and adults alike. I appreciate your openness to dialogue.
