How Many of Your Facebook Friends do You Know? – Tech Crunch summarizes a Pew Research Study. They claim, “Facebook users have about 229 Friends, with about 22% of their total Friends list being comprised of people they know from high school, 12% extended family, 10% coworkers, 9% college friends, 8% immediate family, 7% people from extracurricular groups and 2% being neighbors.” I guess I’m not normal.

    Okay….funny story. I just had to submit my comment three (yes, three) times b/c apparently, I can’t add.

    I got the addition problem wrong twice and both times, the computer flashed to this, “Bye bye spambot!” screen.

    It was 15 + 9, in case anybody cares to know. At first, I put 16, then 14. Yea….don’t ask.

    Now I’m wondering if 22% of my facebook friends are from high school. That’s sorta weird. On top of that, I’m worried about my addition skills. The pressure’s on . . .

    I have 281 friends and 1 is from high school. Ooops. I broke the mold.

    No surprise about the Kindle spam. Hackers are next. Technology…

    Kindle spam. Not surprised. On the flip side, maybe this will encourage Amazon to tighten the guidelines. One can hope.
